The Laurier–Cascade border crossing connects the community of Laurier, Washington and a resort town called Christina Lake. This rural border crossing is very remote, rarely experiencing any traffic except for vacationers heading to Christina Lake. In fact, Laurier is a community made up of just one resident and three buildings all owned by the government.

Passenger vehicles can cross the Laurier-Cascade border between the hours of 8 am to 12 am. The same goes for commercial vehicles entering the US. The Canadian Customs office, on the other hand, only offers its commercial services on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, except for holidays. As mentioned earlier, this is a very remote border crossing that rarely sees traffic except for those who wish to vacation at Christina Lake. There are no wait times to worry about.
