Whitetail border crossing

The Whitetail – Big Beaver border crossing was one of the least used ports between US and Canada. Based on a report by the Canada Border Services Agency, the Big Beaver Port of Entry was “underused” with only 5 travelers using the crossing per day. Because of this, the agency closed down its station in 2011 and the building was demolished soon after. The US port of entry, on the other hand, continued to operate until 2013. The crossing has since been barricaded, but the US border station still remains standing to this day. The closest ports of entry are the Scobey – Coronach border crossing (20 km west) and the Raymond – Regway border crossing (40 km east).
