Richford – East Pinnacle border crossing

The Richford – East Pinnacle border crossing is a small, quiet port that connects the western side of Richford, Vermont to the town of East Pinnacle, Quebec. This crossing is one of the slowest in Vermont, carrying no more than 20 vehicles a day during summer months. During winter, the number of cars is reduced to three.

Border inspection services were first established at this crossing in 1971 when the US built its border station here. The CBSA built its station in 1982. Due to the really low volume of vehicles that pass through this port, the CBSA decided to reduce its hours in 2011.
