Cranston, RI Bernadette Building View
Dorothea Dix Minimum Security Facility, also called Bernadette Building is located in Cranston Rhode Island. It houses approximately 150 minimum and work release female offenders. Inmates at this facility have access to adult basic education classes, can earn a GED, and take college courses. Vocational training is provided to inmates in computers, and in job preparation. During the inmate's incarceration they can receive domestic violence counseling, victim of sexual violence abuse counseling, substance abuse counseling, parenting classes, and religious services.
