Plain Dealing, LA Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility View
The Maximum Security Correctional Facility is at the Bossier Sheriff Complex, north of Benton, La. This facility opened September 1, 2005 to replace the intake/jail formerly located on the fifth floor of the Bossier Parish Courthouse. This facility is a state-of-the-art correctional facility. Representatives from the Bossier Sheriff's Office met with national experts in the design phase of the facility, and those ideas were transformed into one of the most up-to-date correctional facilities in the country.
