Williamson County Juvenile Services (WCJS) shall provide public information for the procedures involved in submitting a complaint or grievance. Juvenile Services shall post signage, provided by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD), in the public spaces of offices and facilities that lists the contact information for persons responsible for receiving, and reviewing complaints and grievances in each department. In addition, WCJS shall post the grievance procedure on a web site to which the public has access. WCJS is committed to solving complaints and grievances at the lowest possible level in order to serve our clients better. WCJS asks that those persons with a compliant or grievance provide the opportunity to resolve grievances informally before resorting to a formal written grievance. Parties with grievances involving alleged sexual abuse or sexual harassment are not required to use the informal grievance process.
