Newton, NJ Sussex County NJ - Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility (KDCF) View
The Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility (KDCF) was opened in 1978. It was named in honor of Walter Keogh-Dwyer, a long-time Sussex County resident who served as a state assemblyman, freeholder and mayor of Vernon Township. The facility, designed to hold male and female inmates of varying degrees of charges according to their respective classification, houses anywhere from 110 to 225 inmates on any given day.
