Lincoln Correctional Center

Lincoln Correctional Center is a medium to maximum security prison that houses adult males, and is located in Lincoln Nebraska. It shares many services and a security perimeter with the nearby Diagnostic and Evaluation Center. Offenders at Lincoln Correctional Center have access to programs that allow the inmate to earn a GED and adult basic education, and even take college level courses. Inmates can also participate in the correctional industries vocational program that teach the inmates skills in a wood shop, and print shop. One of the more unique programs offered at this facility is the PAAWS program where inmates are able to work with dogs, teaching them basic dog obedience. Additional services include pre-release and pre-employment programs.
