Stockton, CA O.H. Close Youth Correctional Facility View
The O.H. Close Youth Correctional Facility located in Stockton, in San Joaquin County, houses male youths under the age of 18 in dormitory-style living units. Youth that have not obtained a High School Diploma, passed an equivalency exam that is recognized by the California Department of Education or completed a legally established program of completion from an accredited school will be enrolled in their facility’s high school. Special education and English Learner services are provided at all locations. Youth may also access post-secondary education programs while in DJJ. College opportunities are available at all locations. This facility houses a sex offender treatment program and a residential substance abuse treatment program. In addition, the Foster Grandparent Program provides mentoring and tutoring services.
