We regret to inform you that the Eastern Arizona Regional Juvenile Detention Facility has been closed. The Mission of The Eastern Arizona Regional Juvenile Detention Facility was to provide Law Enforcement agencies and the community with a safe and secure facility in which to place troubled youth. The staff at E.A.R.J.D.F. believed that ALL juveniles had the right to receive quality treatment while within a restricted environment, for their own protection or that of the community, while awaiting further legal action. Guided by principles that have been established by the American Correctional Association, the Eastern Arizona Regional Juvenile Detention Facility was a professionally managed Direct Supervision Facility. The organization, through Accreditation with the American Correctional Association was able to benefit from the heritage of the past, plan and prepare for the future and “serve” the community in which we are located.
