Hamilton, AL Community Based Facility/Community Work Center View
Hamilton Community Based Facility and Community Work Center was originally opened in 1967 as a Road Camp, and in 1976 became a work center for the Department of Corrections. It houses Work Center inmates that are assigned to city, county, and state agencies performing community services, and Community Based Facility inmates that are assigned to various civilian jobs in the surrounding communities. Hamilton is classified as a minimum custody facility.
