It adjudicates felony criminal cases (from first appearance through sentencing) and RALJ appeals; hears civil actions (torts, contracts, real property, injunctions); oversees family and juvenile matters (dissolution, parenting plans, child support, paternity, adoptions, dependency/termination, juvenile offender, truancy/At-Risk Youth); and manages probate/estates, guardianships/conservatorships, and civil commitment.
