About / Additional Info: Magistrate Court has one central location in downtown Spartanburg and 9 District Magistrate offices located throughout Spartanburg County. Generally Magistrates have criminal jurisdiction over offences punishable by up to $500 fines and 30 days in a jail. Magistrates also have civil jurisdiction over cases involving damages of $7500 and below.
