Stephens County
Stephens County is in Oklahoma. It was formed in 1907 from sections of the former Chickasaw Nation and Comanche County. The county covers 891 square miles of land area and is home to over 44,000 residents. The county is named for John Hall Stephens - a Texas politician.
There are four municipal courts and one district court in Stephens County. These courts make up the trial court system in the county. The municipal courts handle most parking, traffic and criminal cases based on municipal ordinance violations.
