Pontotoc County
Pontotoc County, located in south-central Oklahoma, was founded in 1907. As of the 2023 U.S. Census, an estimated population of 38,396 people resides in the county. It covers approximately 720.41 square miles of land. Ada serves as the largest city and the county seat. The court system in Pontotoc County comprises a District Court and five Municipal Courts.
The Pontotoc County District Court is part of the Oklahoma 22nd Judicial District and has general jurisdiction over criminal and civil cases.
