Pawnee County
Pawnee County takes its name from the Pawnee Nation, whose reservation once covered the area before allotment in 1893. The county currently has an estimated resident population of 15,864 and is also home to several nationally registered historic sites, including the Pawnee County Courthouse.
The Pawnee County trial court system primarily consists of a District Court, also referred to as a court of general jurisdiction.
