Okmulgee County
Located on a 702.3 square miles area in east-central Oklahoma, Okmulgee County was organized at the 1907 statehood, and the county seat is the City of Okmulgee. The county got its name from the Native American word for bubbling water and is home to over 36,000 people.
One of the 77 district courts in Oklahoma is located in Okmulgee County and has a general jurisdiction on almost all criminal and civil cases within its sphere of influence. The Okmulgee County Court hears cases like misdemeanors, felonies, family law, domestic violence, divorce, fraud, disorderly conduct, property disputes, contract disputes, and class action cases.
Okmulgee County public court records are records generated during court processes, including documents and information from legal proceedings. Anyone can visit the county's physical courthouse to view or obtain records of civil, criminal, probate, and property cases. They can also check the county's public court records online through the Oklahoma State Court Network Website or the On Demand Court Records Portal (ODCR), as recommended by the county's district court.
