The County and Municipal judges have statewide authority to solemnize marriage ceremonies. The courts handle about 1,000 cases annually.

The Trumbull County Clerk of Court is responsible for filing and maintaining county court records. In the office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, they create records, maintain records, report on them, and maintain records associated with the court.
