Guernsey County

Located in the Appalachian foothills in southeastern Ohio, Guernsey County was created in 1810 and derives its name from the Isle of Guernsey. Between 2010 and 2022, the county's population declined by 0.4% per year and currently stands at 38,438. Cambridge is the county's largest city.

The Common Pleas Court and its divisions are situated in the Guernsey County courthouse. The Common Pleas Court has general jurisdiction and handles all civil, family, probate, and criminal cases.
