Newton County
Located in the southwestern part of Missouri, Newton County was established in 1838. According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has approximately 60,677 residents as of July 1, 2023. Newton County covers an estimated area of 625 square miles. Neosho is the county seat. The county's judicial system comprises the Circuit Court and Municipal Courts.
