Johnson County

Johnson County covers a land area of 829 square miles in the western region of Missouri. It was formed in 1833 and named to honor Richard Mentor Johnson, the ninth Vice President of the United States. The county is home to more than 54,000 residents, while its government seat is Warrensburg.

Johnson County has a Circuit Court and several Municipal Courts.
