Garrett County

Garrett County has a population of 28,806 as of the 2020 census. Named after the president of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, John Garrett, Garrett County was created in 1872 and is the last county to be created in the state. It has a land area of 647 square miles, and its county seat is Oakland.
