Acadia County
Acadia Parish, created in 1887, was named for the Acadians. It covers about 655.2 square miles of land, making it the 30th largest county in Louisiana by total area. Crowley serves as both the administrative center and the largest city. According to the 2020 U.S. census, an estimated population of 57,576 people live in Acadia Parish.
