Marshall County

Marshall County is a 302-square-mile county in southwestern Kentucky. It was created in 1842 and was originally home to the Chickasaw Indians and later European-American settlers. The county seat, Benton, was founded three years after the county's creation. According to 2020 data, Marshall County has a total population of 31,659.

The fee for non-commercial document requests from the Clerk's office is $0.10 per page, payable in advance. Non-commercial requests for recordings, computer disks, or tapes cost $5.00 per copy. Commercial requests, special requests, or those requiring non-standard formats may incur higher fees, considering staff time and reproduction costs. Additionally, requesters are responsible for any postage costs incurred by the county.
