Geary County

Geary County, Kansas, was created in 1855 and named after the first mayor of San Francisco and the 16th governor of Pennsylvania, John Geary. The county has 20 square miles of water and 385 square miles of land. According to the 2020 US census, 36,739 people live within its boundaries. Junction City is its county seat and largest city.
