Arapahoe County
Arapahoe County, also known as Colorado's first county, was carved from the vast Kansas Territory in 1855. With over 656,000 residents, it is considered Colorado's third most populous county. The county's eastern part is relatively rural compared to the western part, which is closer to Denver, the economic hub of Colorado.
