Logan County
Logan County is located in the southwest region of West Virginia on the Allegheny Plateau and was founded in 1824. The county was named after Logan. It has approximately 452.9 square miles of land and is the 22nd largest county in West Virginia by total area. As of the 2020 United States Census, 32,567 people live in the county, and the city of Logan serves as both the county seat and the largest city.
