Barron County
Formerly known as Dallas County, Barron County was created in 1859, renamed in 1869, and organized in 1874. It was named in honor of Henry D. Barron. Barron County has a total area of 890 square miles and has its county seat located in Barron. The County is currently inhabited by 46, 711 residents with Rice Lake serving as its largest city.
There are two distinct trial court systems in Barron County, namely a Circuit Court and Municipal Courts.
