Cache County
Cache County, established in 1856, is located north of Utah. The county covers approximately 1,164.7 square miles and has a population of around 134,428 residents. The county is named after the fur trappers who would "cache" their furs in the area. Logan serves as both the county seat and largest city in Cache County. Cache County's court system is part of Utah's Statewide Unified Judicial System. It comprises the District, Juvenile, and Justice Courts.
The First District Court handles general civil claims, all felony criminal cases, and class A misdemeanor. It also addresses family law matters such as divorce, child custody, probate cases, and appeals from lower courts and administrative agencies.
