Titus County

Established in 1846, Titus County, Texas, is named after Andrew Jackson Titus, an early settler and politician. Mount Pleasant serves as the county seat. Covering approximately 406 square miles, Titus County is located in the northeastern part of the state. As of July 1, 2023, the county had an estimated population of 31,357 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau.
