Ashland County

Located in the northeastern region of Ohio, Ashland County was established in 1846 and named after the home of Senator Henry Clay, “Ashland". Its land area is 423 square miles and as of the 2020 US census, it had a population of 52,447. Ashland is its county seat and largest city.

The Ashland County court system consists of the Court of Common Pleas, Municipal, and Mayor's Courts. Mayor's Courts in Ashland County hear traffic infractions and violations of municipal ordinances. The two Mayor's Courts are in Loudonville and Perrysville.
