Barnes County

Barnes County was established in 1872 as Burbank County and renamed in 1874 after Alanson H. Barnes, an Associate Justice of the Territorial Court. Barnes County covers a total area of 1,513 square miles and has a population of 10,823 people, according to the 2020 census.
