It presides over cases that include severe punishments for crimes. In addition, it decides such cases as foreclosures, civil cases involving amounts up to $25,000, and real estate property divisions. The District Court distributes justice in several cases. Such cases include divorce, child custody, child protection, traffic offense cases, misdemeanors, and civil disputes where the amount involved in dispute is $25,000 or less.
The Superior Court courthouse manages and houses several records in the county. Court records are official documents that provide full details related to charges, indictments, and evidence in a case.
