St. Tammany County
St. Tammany Parish, which was created in 1810, is located in Louisiana and has Covington as its county seat. It is the state's fourth most populous parish, boasting a population of over 270,000 people. It was named for the legendary Lenape Chief of Chiefs, Tamanend.
The trial court organization in the county is composed of city, district mayor's, and justice of the peace courts.
