Greenup County
Located in the northeastern region of Kentucky, Greenup County was created in 1803 and named after the third governor of Kentucky, Christopher Greenup. It has a land area of 344 square miles and about 36,000 residents. Its largest city is Flatwoods, and its county seat is Greenup.
