Miami County
Established in 1832, Miami County was named after the Miami tribe, a Native American nation that once inhabited the area. The county has a population of more than 35,000 people and occupies a land area of 373.84 square miles. Its county seat and largest city is Peru.
The Miami County trial court system consists of a Circuit Court, a Superior Court, and a City Court.
