Kosciusko County, Indiana, was established in 1835 and organized in 1836. It was named after a Polish General who served in the American Revolutionary War, Tadeusz Kosciuszko. The county has a land area of 531 square miles, and according to the 2020 US census, it has 80,240 residents. Its county seat and largest city is Warsaw.
