Boone County
Boone County, the 28th largest county in Indiana State by total land area, was created in 1830 from Hendricks and Marion Counties. The county, located in the central part of the state, stretches 422.9 square miles of land area with an estimated 70,812 population. It has the seat of government in Lebanon.
The Boone County judicial system is made up of a Circuit Court and two Superior Courts. These courts share jurisdiction over civil and criminal cases.
