Bibb County
Bibb County was founded in 1822 and named after Alabama's first governor, William Wyatt Bibb. In 2014, Bibb County merged with its county seat, Macon, to form a consolidated city-county government. As of 2020, its population was 157,346 while covering a land area of about 249 square miles.
