Hendry County
Hendry County is located in the Florida heartland region and was established on May 11, 1923. It was named for Francis Asbury Hendry, a politician and cattle rancher. Hendry County is a Hispanic-majority county, and its total land mass measures 1,190 square miles. A population of over 39,000 reside in it, and its largest city is Clewiston. LaBelle serves as its county seat.
