The Orange County Clerk of Courts maintains a wide range of public court records. Public court records are non-sensitive/non-confidential documents and information generated from the county's Superior Court and are usually available for public viewing and copying. Generally, interested persons can access the following types of public court records from the Orange County Clerk's Office:
- Criminal records
- Civil and small claims records

- Probate records
Records of these cases can be requested and obtained from the Clerk's office in person or via mail. The Superior Court of Orange County also provides an Online Case Access Portal to enable quick access to public court records maintained by the Clerk's office.
