On the other hand, the Garland County District Court conducts preliminary hearings for felonies and hears misdemeanors. It also addresses civil claims with disputed amounts below $25,000 and operates a Small Claims Court for cases involving disputes under $5,000. Both the Circuit and District Courts are located in Hot Springs.
