Escambia County
Escambia County was founded on December 10, 1868, having a total landmass of 953 square miles. Its county seat is Brewton, and its largest city is Atmore. As of 2023, its population was 36,558, a decrease from the figure recorded in 2020. Escambia County is located in the south-central portion of Alabama.
