Cullman County
Covering 743 square miles in the Cumberland Plateau, Cullman County is located in the heart of North Alabama. It was organized in 1877 by German American immigrants who moved from Cincinnati, Ohio. As of recent estimates, the county is inhabited by 92,016 people.
Within the county's county system, the Cullman County Circuit Court is the primary court that handles serious legal matters such as felony criminal cases, misdemeanors related to a felony charge, civil cases involving amounts in controversy greater than $10,000, juvenile cases, and probate matters.
