Juneau County
Established in 1857, Juneau County is located in central Wisconsin and was named after Milwaukee legislator, Solomon Juneau. It has a land area of approximately 767.08 square miles and is home to notable historic sites such as the Waldron Public Library.
The Juneau County trial court system primarily consists of the Circuit Court. The Circuit Court has original jurisdiction over any civil and criminal matter in Juneau County. The court also has jurisdiction over probate and juvenile matters and shares jurisdiction with the Mauston Area Municipal Court on certain matters, such as traffic matters, underage drinking, ordinance violations, and other minor offenses.
The Mauston Area Municipal Court's jurisdiction only applies to the City of Mauston, the City of New Lisbon, Germantown, the Village of Necedah, the Town of Necedah, and the Village of Lyndon Station.

Juneau County maintains an online platform whereby interested persons can search for and access public court records. You can initiate a search by submitting a completed record request online form and paying a processing fee, where applicable.
The form allows you to search for records by case number, party name, or date. If you are unable to access a case via the online platform, you can contact the Circuit Court Clerk at (608) 847-9356 or the Municipal Court Clerk at (608) 847-2488 for inquiries on the procedure, cost, and requirements for accessing the records of the case.
Besides contacting the relevant Court Clerk, you may also visit any of the courts in person.
