Allegheny County
Allegheny County is located in Southwestern Pennsylvania and it is the second most populous county in the state. It was established on September 24, 1788 and named after the Allegheny River. It had a population of 1,250,578 according to the 2020 census, covers 745 square miles, and includes Pittsburgh, Pennsylvia's largest city.
