Pine County
Pine County spans over 1,400 square miles in east-central Minnesota and is home to 30,197 as of 2023. Named for its abundant pine tree growth, the county is part of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. It was established in 1856, and its county seat is Pine City.
