Vigo County
Vigo County was organized in 1818 and named after Francis Vigo. Terre Haute serves as the county seat. It covers about 403.6 square miles of land, ranking it as the 42nd largest county in Indiana by total area. The county is home to an estimated 106,153 residents. Vigo County court system consists of a Circuit Court, a Superior Court, and a City Court.
